Where is the Hotel and Townhouse Located?
The Baseball Hotel and Townhouses are located at 10 Gould Avenue in Richfield Springs, NY. They are NOT located on Canadarago Lake, but guests have full rights to the water at the Lake House. The Lake House Restaurant, and the Lodge are located at beautiful Canadargo Lake. If you would like to stay on the water, please request so specifically, by contacting us, or by booking through Bed&Breakfast.com.
What is the cancellation policy?
There are no cancellations. All reservations are non-refundable and cannot be changed or cancelled.
Is our food included?
No but we do offer competitive pricing and discounts to our guests when they eat at the restaurant. Bookings at the Townhouse and Baseball Hotel are provided a continental breakfast every morning.
I need to do my laundry, is there a washer/dryer?
Yes each property has a coin-op washer and dryer, each cost $1 to use.
How far is it to/from
Cooperstown Dreams Park?
15 miles about 15-20 minute drive.
How far is it to/from the
Hall of Fame?
12 miles about 15-20 minute drive.
How far is it to/from
Glimmerglass Opera?
7-8 miles, about 10-15 minute drive.
Are pets allowed at the Lake House?
Yes but there is a pet fee, it is $15/night or $75/week.

Is there off-street parking available?
Yes, we have plenty of room.
Do you have a swimming pool?
No, neither property has a swimming pool but there is swimming off the docks at the lodge and guests of the hotel have full rights as well.
How clean is the water for swimming?

Is there any fishing?
Canadarago is well-known for the fishing tournaments and its rather large tiger musky. Click here for more.
Can I bring my boat?
Yes guests can bring their boats for no extra charge. Please contact us in advance.
Do you rent boats?
Yes we have several boats and pontoon boats available as well as jetskis.
Is there a charge for rowboats or canoes?
No there is no charge for rowboats or canoes for the guests.
I heard there were bonfires and fire pits available, are there any fees to use them?
No there are no extra fees for using the fire pits or having bonfires and we provide all the wood, free of charge!
I heard you have summer concerts, do guests get in for free?
No, guests do however get a 50% discount on tickets! Click here to learn more about the Concert Series
Is dinner included at these concerts?
No but we do have a snack bar available
and if you would like to, you may make reservations for the restaurant.
Which property is better suited for family reunions?
The hotel is better suited for family reuinions because of it's
large expansive lawn, commercial size kitchen, and very large dining room.
It has more rooms available than the lodge,
so the whole family can stay in one place!
What is there to do in Richfield Springs and what stores do they have there?
There are 4 gas stations, each have convient stores available. Baker's beach is open daily during the summer months. There is a large 24-hour grocery store, a Subway, McDonald's, Kinney Drugs, a hardware store, 2 auto parts stores, 3 bars, one liquore store, a post office, 5 restaurants including the Lake House. There is a Farmer's market held every Thursday and Saturday at the local park in the center of town. The nearby school has open tennis courts, an open track, soccer fields, and a playground/jungle gym area. About 20 minutes down the road in Van Hornesville, there is a very nice hiking trail down below the Owen D. Young School.
The Historical Society is in town as well as 3 real estate offices, 2 antique shops, 3 hair salons and a barber shop. Stewart's has hard ice cream available
while we have soft ice cream available.
There is a local tow-truck place just in case,
as well as a car dealership (Ford, Chrysler, and Jeep).
And for those of you who love to read, we do have a local library as well!
