The Baseball Hotel is located at 10 Gould Avenue, Richfield Springs, NY.
Although the Baseball Hotel has complete rights to Canadarago Lake, it is NOT located on the lake. Rather, it is less than 1 mile away from the lake. See our Directions page for more.

There are 25 rooms at the hotel, each room with a brand-new bathroom, cable T.V., A/C and Wi-Fi access. The first floor of the hotel is completely handicap accessible with an access ramp from outside. There are no steps to any of the public areas on the first floor. There is a room on the first floor that has a handicap accessible bathroom.
On the first floor is a large living room, computer area, dining room, coin-operated laundry area, plus a huge commercial kitchen for the guests' use.

History of the Hotel
The hotel, known in the glory days of Richfield Springs as the Terrace Hotel and Sulfur Bath Hotel, is the last standing hotel and bath house complex that marks the end of the most prominent era in the village's history.
At the height of the Springs popularity, the village had numerous hotels and bath houses and was a popular summer destination. The Era of the Springs served such guests as inventor Thomas Edison, Governor and President Franklin Roosevelt, Cyrus McCormick of McCormick Harvester, Gen. George McCellan, writer Sarah Orne Jewitt, and Oscar Wilde and many others in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Now it will cater to baseball/softball families providing lodging for large groups. We are conveniently located only three miles from Cooperstown Diamond Dreams, sixteen miles from Dreams Park and twenty nine miles from Cooperstown All Star Village.
Guests of the hotel have the following amenities:
All rooms have a hard wired smoke and heat detector tied to a central alarm system. The building has a full commercial kitchen for preparing meals on a large scale including a commercial cooler and gas stove. Large dining room for up to 80 people. Full Wi-Fi service in the building and grounds.Large lawn for parties and relaxation. Private baths for each room.
Located within two blocks of Main Street are many stores. There are pharmacy, antiques, restaurants, tavern, gas stations, ice cream shops, liquor | wine store and a library as well as public tennis and basketball courts.
The Hotel is Pet friendly upon request.
The hotel amenities included for Teams and Guests are as follows:
Full use of the Lake House Grounds including picnic tables, docks and decks. Large 24 foot Gazebo next to the cottage for Team Parties or gatherings with furnishings. Barbecue Grills on the deck or gazebo. Full usage of lower decks for team gatherings or parties. Use of the lawn for baseball or softball games. Use of the fire pit next to the Lake for bonfires or cookouts- we provide the wood. Use of the canoes and rowboats with life preservers with parental supervision. Use of the docks for fishing.
The grounds are fully set up for Wi-Fi even on the boats. Available at the Lake House- Motor or pontoon boat rentals.
Items Not Included
There is no linen and towel service, they are provided when you check in but not changed during your stay.
We do not stock the food, coffee, ect. for the kitchen it is your responsibility while you stay with us.
We supply the kitchen with all of the dishes but cleaning them is your responsibility while you stay with us.
